Indonesian Cultural Perspective Critical Discourse Analysis in Junior High School Level English Textbooks

Language is a tool for people to communicate with structured words and sentence patterns. However, when there language also culture that bonds together language. One of the world use English. English has very high demand in every sectors including education sectors. In sector, serves as main subject EFL countries, one countries Indonesia, teaching learning activity Indonesia still relying on textbook. Textbooks rarely showing cultural content which contents textbook can be appreciation preserving traditional culture. this research, author will analyze discourse found Junior High School level textbook, Sky 2 whether any Indonesian Cultural Perspective included within This research method using qualitative descriptive analysis approach design.
